Experience farm life and nature

Söðulsholt is a working horse training and conditioning farm on the Snæfellsnes peninsula that includes over 70 horses, horse stables, and a first class indoor riding facility.

We invite you to come for a visit and take in the beauty of the area, the horses and life on the farm, such as foal season, stable work, horse training and possibly participate in the farmer's ride, ladies' ride or simply book a short riding tour (additional fees may apply). Our location is ideal for observing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

The farm is owned and operated by Einar Ólafsson, while horse training and conditioning is managed by Iðunn and Dóri. Einar‘s grandchildren enjoy spending and working their summers at the farm and are avid horse riders.
